Apple is rumoured to be working on a pair of eyeglasses simulations right now. In addition to developing standalone AR-VR eyeglasses that can compete with Facebook’s Oculus Quest, the tech giant is working on slim data glasses that are integrated with the iPhone. These glasses will also compete with Facebook’s standalone Oculus Quest.

In addition to Apple and Facebook, it’s possible that Google is hiring lots of former leaders as well. After the failure of its own virtual reality application on mobile devices, Google is following Apple’s lead and attempting to break into the augmented reality market with its smartphones.
